After she was given advice from a wise friend, Lauren began teaching and practicing yoga in 2015 when she received Teacher Training under Dominica Knapp at The Shala. Lauren quickly became fascinated with yoga and all that it encompasses and discovered a new love. Holding a deep desire to help others, a passion for being healthy and a hunger to learn something new each and everyday, Lauren found that teaching yoga fulfills all of this and more. Building a relationship with her mat, Lauren has found relief through her own yoga practice from old sports injuries to current health issues. She hopes to bring connection, stability and movement to the students in her classes while providing a comfortable surrounding for self exploration. Yoga allows an avenue for your soul happy by being good to yourself. Lauren likes to remind herself of something that most of our population overlooks and hopes that others remember, too – – to just. breathe.
