Mari Good

Mari’s yoga journey began at the age of six by learning to do handstands against a wall in a small donation based yoga studio in downtown Portland. Since then she continues to invert herself and sometimes even her students in a vinyasa based yoga practice. Coming from a dance background she thoroughly enjoys choreographing classes that flow, allowing students the freedom to express themselves on their mats and honor what their body is telling them.
Mari currently works full time in a high school and teach yoga, pilates, barre, and is a yoga therapist part-time. Her first 200 hour vinyasa yoga teacher training was in New York City in 2011. In 2013 she completed a second 200 hour advanced hatha teacher training in Chennai, India. She completed her Pilates mat and reformer certification in 2014 In 2016 she graduated from Maryland University of Integrative Health with a Masters of Science in Yoga Therapy and a 500 hour yoga teacher training, and is a Certified Yoga Therapist through the International Association of Yoga Therapists(C-IAYT).
